April 19 | Arrive in Washington, D.C.
Whew! After my world tour and accumulating thousands of frequent flyer miles, I am finally back home in the United States of America. Before returning to Little Rock, Arkansas, I have one stop to make in Washington, D.C., the nation’s capital. I have had a chance to see so many national capitals including Prague, Katmandu, and Pristina, so this will be a great opportunity to compare the structure and function of our government to other countries’ governments. I am looking forward to my visit. My friend Emily will be meeting me at the airport to guide me through the city.
