August 19 | Little Rock: Clinton School of Public Service
What a day! I just met with all the representatives at the Clinton School of Public Service. The Clinton School of Public Service works to promote a vision of world leaders who are able to work effectively with individuals and organizations to build strong, healthy communities, both in Arkansas and around the world. The representatives told me all about what they do at the school and how they work to change the world. They also told me about the projects that I will be working on. As a Public Service Student Ambassador for Arkansas, I am charged with the duty of helping people all around the world by actively contributing in international service projects designed to assist people in need. The great thing about this is that I will get to meet and help thousands of people from around the world. My parents said that they are proud that I will be able to make an impact on the lives of so many people.
The day went by quickly, and I received my itinerary, which included a plane ticket to New York. I can’t believe it … New York City! The people at the Clinton School told me that I get to go there to work in training for the next two weeks before traveling to other countries. And guess what? I get to meet former President Bill Clinton. Wow! This is going to be AWESOME!!! Well, I better get a good night’s sleep. I leave for New York City tomorrow.
