August 30 | New York: C40 SummitHey! I’ve got a riddle for you. What do you get when you place the leaders of 40 large cities from around the world in a room with one former president of the United States? Well, that would be the
C40 Large Cities Climate Summit, of course! This summit is very important to the Clinton Climate Initiative. Tony told me that large cities contribute 75 percent of all greenhouse gases to the atmosphere. So if large cities are better informed about the problem, then they can work to solve the problem, and everyone will benefit. Seems like a win-win situation, huh? President Clinton introduced me to the C40 Summit and told them how I have contributed to the efforts of the Clinton Climate Initiative this past week. I know I blushed right in front of all those leaders, but it felt really good to be recognized. He also told them about my next adventure to Nicaragua. I am really looking forward to going, just as long as it’s not too hot there!
