October 3 | Australia: Ayers Rock
I began my day traveling along Australia’s 1,000 mile highway that has no curves. Along this highway there is nothing but flat landscape. I was getting bored, so I was glad when we turned off the highway and headed toward Ayers Rock. Ayers Rock is also known by its Aboriginal name Uluru. Ayers Rock, the world’s largest monolith, is a large magnetic mound, not unlike Silbury Hill in England. It is located on a major planetary grid point much like the Great Pyramid in Egypt.
