October 15 | New Zealand: Northland District Health Board
Today was exciting and frightening! I met a young man who invited me to a rugby game, and I’ve never played this form of football. It’s a rough game, but so fact-paced and fun. It stopped being fun, however, when my new friend was carried from the field. I accompanied him to one of the local hospitals, which I understand is part of Northland District Health Board. My friend told me that this board helps provide for the hospital and supplies health services for a large area. I’m glad they were there for him; luckily, no bones were broken!
