I am in Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam. It is located in the Red River Delta in Southeast Asia. Bordered by China, Laos, Cambodia, and the South China Sea, Vietnam is situated in a tropical monsoon zone and has a cold, dry season and a hot, wet season. The population of Vietnam is 85,262,356.

I am grateful for Anh Bu, my interpreter and guide. In her language, Anh means intellectual brightness; Bu means leader. Without her, I would be lost. English is spoken in urban areas, but outside the cities, the people speak Vietnamese. Anh Bu is going to be a good friend!
