October 22 | Vietnam: Vietnam Woman's Museum
I love to go to museums, and today I went to the Vietnam Women’s Museum in Hanoi. The museum provides a cultural exchange service between Vietnamese women and women from other countries to encourage equality and security. One of the five main themes Anh and I discussed was that the culture of Vietnamese women is expressed through traditional handicraft products. I explained to her that Heifer International of Little Rock, Arkansas, is involved in teaching Vietnamese women and the handicapped how to use their work to help support themselves. She was very interested to hear about my home, too!
