November 9 | Nepal: Social Challenges
Santosh has a younger brother Anil who is my age and is in primary school. Santosh and I visited his school today. Anil is very lucky. He is a good student and is still in school. Some of his classmates weren’t so lucky and had to take jobs at a young age to support their families. They were unable to finish school. Anil was telling me that his teacher talked of change occurring in Nepal. People were concerned about the women and children. They wanted to make sure the women and children of Nepal had access to healthcare, developed technical skills, and were safe. Anil hopes that his classmates will be able to return to school and he will soon be reunited with his friends.
